Nezerae Hunt is the President of The Cleveland Freedom Project, where she has made it her mission to create safe, uplifting spaces for youth to learn, grow, and pursue their dreams. Passionate about mentorship and community engagement, she works to inspire young people to see their potential and step into leadership roles. Nezerae has collaborated with leaders, community elders, and local organizations, always keeping youth voices at the center of the work.

In addition to her nonprofit leadership, Nezerae is a full-time student majoring in communications, preparing for a future career in the sports industry. She is committed to using her education and experiences to bridge opportunities for the next generation. She is a woman who wears many hats, but no matter what role she steps into, her passion for empowering and guiding youth always leads the way.

Dai-Yaan Solomon has been an integral part of the Cleveland Freedom Project since 2023, serving as both a Program Assistant and the Vice President of our Board of Directors. Dai-Yaan brings a deep passion for community engagement and youth empowerment, consistently demonstrating a commitment to social justice and systemic change.

In his role, Dai-Yaan helps to facilitate transformative conversations between youth and law enforcement, creating space for dialogue, understanding, and mutual respect. He has played a pivotal role in developing and supporting youth-led capstone projects that address real-world issues, encouraging young people to become changemakers in their own communities.

A senior at Baldwin Wallace University, Dai-Yaan combines academic insight with lived experience to help bridge gaps between generations, institutions, and community members. His leadership, empathy, and unwavering dedication continue to drive the mission of the Cleveland Freedom Project forward.
