The Cleveland Freedom Project is hiring passionate, motivated facilitators for our 6-week summer program. This is a paid opportunity designed for students and emerging professionals seeking hands-on experience in youth development, education, and community impact.
Our facilitators are not traditional instructors—they are mentors, coaches, and guides who help young people explore real-world issues, build critical skills, and develop confidence in their voices and ideas. Through project-based learning and culturally responsive practices, facilitators support youth in engaging, meaningful experiences that center leadership, identity, and community change.
Whether supporting capstone projects focused on public health or leading dynamic literacy experiences, facilitators play a key role in creating a safe, inclusive, and empowering environment for all participants.
Capstone Facilitator (Paid Practicum – Public Health Focus)
The Capstone Facilitator supports youth participants through a hands-on, project-based learning experience focused on public health, leadership, and community impact. This role is ideal for individuals seeking practicum, field placement, or applied experience in youth development.
Literacy Facilitator (Paid Practicum – Summer Program)
The Literacy Facilitator leads the program’s literacy component, creating engaging, youth-centered learning experiences that build confidence, identity, and a love of reading. This is not a traditional teaching role—facilitators act as mentors who guide youth through storytelling, discussion, and creative expression.
