Youth supporting youth: Cleveland Job Corps prepares them, The Cleveland Freedom Project (CFP) places them. Together, we are turning training into paychecks and investments into lasting impact.

 

By serving as the hiring bridge, CFP ensures local residents gain real construction experience while companies meet the City's Community Benefits Agreement (CBA) hiring goals.

How It Works

Active Projects

Gordon Crossing – 54 units, approx. $17.6M mixed-income housing in Cleveland; co-developed by Frontline Development Group, LLC and Woda Cooper Companies. Interns are contributing to the finishing phase of construction, supporting drywall finishing, painting prep, cabinet and countertop installation support, punch-list clean-up, and unit turn readiness.​

Gateway66 – 80 units, approx. $27M housing development by the same co-developers. As construction phases ramp up, interns will rotate onto general labor, material handling, site clean-up, and supervised trade assist, gaining additional exposure as scopes progress.
