When JayShaun lost his mother and later his grandmother, football became the place where he carried their memory. He believed they were watching over him, encouraging him to stay focused, stay safe, and keep chasing his dreams instead of becoming another victim of the violence surrounding him.

His relentless work ethic eventually earned him the opportunity he had dreamed about since childhood: playing in the National Football League. As his platform grew, JayShaun remained committed to giving back. He hosted free youth football camps where young athletes could improve their skills, gain confidence, and believe in what was possible for their own futures. Away from football, JayShaun built a life centered on family, gratitude, and love. Together with his wife and their twins, he created a home filled with laughter, creativity, respect, and encouragement, carrying forward the same values that shaped him as a young boy.
