“Billionaire CEO, Model, and Actor at 40”:
Breillyn M. Reflects on His Record-Breaking Career

CLEVELAND, OH — Breillyn M. has done more by age 40 than most people dream of doing in a lifetime. A billionaire CEO, model, and award-winning actor, he first found success early in life with the hit TV show Life of a Vampire Teen.
The show — which he starred in and helped write and produce — was inspired by the supernatural drama The Vampire Diaries, a series he loved growing up. But Breillyn’s version told a different kind of story — Life of a Vampire Teen was told through the lens of a Black youth, with characters whose life experiences mirrored his own. “It perfectly reflected the life of a teen dealing with supernatural problems,” he said, “but I wanted to show what that could look like for someone like me — someone growing up Black in America, facing real challenges with identity, belonging, and power.”
Breillyn’s passion for storytelling and creativity was sparked during his time in the Cleveland Freedom Project, a summer program that challenged him to dream big, build leadership skills, and believe in his own potential. “That program helped me realize that my ideas mattered,” he said. “It gave me the confidence to pursue acting and think like an entrepreneur.”
After his breakout role, Breillyn expanded into fashion, modeling for major brands and starting his own clothing line. Eventually, he launched a global media and fashion company — becoming a billionaire before the age of 40.
“Everything I create is about imagination, identity, and power,” he said.
Even with his busy schedule, Breillyn gives back by mentoring young creatives and funding scholarships for youth in Cleveland. “I want others to know that it’s possible to dream big — and live it,” he said with a smile.
